Upper lip: SL ST in next st, SC in next 2 sts, HDC in next 2, DC in next 2, TR in next one, TR2TOG in next 2, CH, HDC in next, CH, TR2TOG in next 2, TR in next 2, DC in next 2, HDC in next 2, SC in next 2, SL ST.
Lower lip: cross to the other side with 1 SL ST, SL ST in next, SC in next 2, HDC in next 2 sts, DC in next 3 sts, TRC in next, TR2TOG in next 3 sts (this is the rounded and biggest part of the down lip), start decreasing as follows TRC in next, DC in next 3 sts, HDC in next 2 sts, SC in next 2, SL ST in the last one and a final SL ST in the middle of the lip to secure it, leave a tail of about 20 cm (3 times the length of the lips) and cut the yarn.
Use a tapestry needle to sew the yarn to a hair clip or metal (also call French) barrette of about 80 mm, about 3 inches. You could also attach the lip to a piece of felt with glue and then sew it all together; it will give consistency to the shaped lip.
Happy crocheting!
